The Hydrogenaudio staff will never delete an account, as per ToS #12 (http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=3974#entry149485). We can ban you or remove your posting privileges, but what would be the point of that? You can simply choose not to post anymore.

Also, closing your account would not delete your previous posts. 

A moderator could delete your posts if it was offensive or otherwise violated the rules, but generally the "historical record" is intentionally kept intact, permanently.
