Title: What is a sync error and how is it different from a read error?
Post by: teh roxxors on 2019-10-27 19:49:33
I was ripping a disc, one track encountered a sync error, apparently at the end of the track, when EAC is supposed to "realize" it has encountered the end of the track.

On the computer, the ripped track plays fine—I don't notice anything wrong with it.

So I have to ask, what exactly is a sync error, especially as compared to a read error?
