What is AFPK file used for?

Hi,

    I recently come across AFPK files.

    Like to know more in details, as to what are they, and what is it used for. Does it help when playback in foobar2000, or other players? Or these files are mainly used for analysis of the extraction?

Ok, I think I get it....it is mainly for song matching. Of not much use for end user.
