General Audio / Re: Cutoff frequencies of lossy codecs

It's your opinion, and that's my opinion. We must respect to different opinions. Please be more polite.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but there is no requirement that it should be respected. You continually profer statements and opinions that are completely contrary to the perceived wisdom on this and most other forums without any evidence that makes any kind of sense to the majority. Of course you are entitled to your opinion but please don't continue to try to convince others that your opinion is more valid than that of the majority.

I'm not trying to convince others, thank you.

You're right, mine was a bit out of date. And again, my track title is fine. It doesn't have anything in parenthesis that needs to be removed. It's Genius.com which adds the romanization to the title on their site. Now, I'm not sure if this actually affects the search from ESLyric, but I think it does. Maybe it's checking for exact matches?
You still have not said if you've actually TRIED toggling the field processing operation I indicated, and if and how it affects your results.

I use the plugin almost 100% for streams only, and of course how a particular station is parsing the metadata it sends for any particular song is going to matter, making me a bad test subject, especially as all I collect are lyrics with romanized characters.  The developer always.beta would be the perfect one to respond here;  you could also take the question over to the ESlyric github forum, where he is much more active than here.

@DVDdoug I think OGG is doing worse. I prefer 22050Hz 32kbps FhG encoded MP3 over 22050Hz 32kbps Aotuv encoded OGG Vorbis, because it has richer spectrum as it has a narrower frequency range.

Narrower frequency range gives richer spectrum? Errrrr. what?
Sorry, dude, but your takes on pretty much anything don't make any sense, and i've seen you spreading such kind of misinformation across multiple threads. What is your point?

I can only agree. All the similar comments suggest a pronounced hearing defect, not wishing to sound(!!) unkind.

Hi @SnappDragon10,

I have never heard of such issue or encountered it...
Do you mean the `Playlist Search`, i.e top Menu > Edit > Search or Ctrl + F ?
If so, it's working just fine.

It seems there is an issue with your foobar but not with Georgia-ReBORN.
Are you using a third-party firewall? Maybe it is blocking your foobar or maybe you have used
additional user-components that could trigger this issue.

Try to install the latest foobar 32-bit version as PORTABLE on your desktop with the latest DEV version from here:
https://github.com/TT-ReBORN/Georgia-ReBORN/archive/refs/heads/master.zip
and just use the original files for testing.
