You didn't clarify at all what you are trying to do. For example if you wanted to pass double quotes to cmd.exe you might need to escape them with ^". To pass them to web services you can replace them with %22. It all depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

Thanks for the update.
Regarding the last_played title formatting, I think i got it, here's my noob attempt.
Code: [Select]
$puts(lp,%2003_last_played_ago%)$puts(week,$replace($substr($get(lp),0,$strstr($get(lp), )),wk,))
$if($get(lp),$ifgreater($get(week),52,$div($get(week),52) years ago,$iflonger($get(lp),8,$substr($get(lp),0,$strstr($get(lp),d)),Today)),)

So now works fine? The mask file is the one needed, if it was missing it didn't work properly.

the _old is the install that i had before this testing, the _new is with the last github zips. I rename the one to use in every scenario

Using the old prefix
X
X
X

With the last downloaded when we start testing wrapped

X
X
X

The _old only have 3 icon, no masks
The _new 5 icons.

The _new show the glitch, the _old works

Not going to fix user errors while tagging their files but glad you finally sorted it out.

Also if an entire album has all their tracks tagged with the same title... then... xd just use the global filter to remove it. Can not account for it unless I force people to tag all their tracks with picard to get unique musicbrainz ids. I could offer a setting to switch between tittle or ids though.

Do you have tracks without artist? That's weird.

.\main\spotify\wrapped.js
Go to line 49 and set bDebug to true.

And paste the log here.

No, all have artist. And generally musicbrainz tags too

I fix it already and add %album% #%discnumber%.%tracknumber% to every song untitled XD.

Lossless / Other Codecs / Re: HALAC (High Availability Lossless Audio Compression)
Last post by Hakan Abbas -
HALAC's multihread mode works a little differently. In fact, the thread numbers do not exactly reflect the threads. My previous work HALIC is much more greedy(autothread). It works at full capacity, but it also consumes a lot of system memory. I wanted to do something much less memory-consuming for HALAC. Because it should have been able to work even in the lowest systems. And I really liked the result.

HALAC redirects the data to be compressed to the specified number of threads in sequence. I say sequentially because the read/write operations from the file should be sequential for security reasons. In this case, since HALAC is already very fast, some threads may finish their tasks early. This also leaves a little rest allowance for the processor.

If this is not desired, that is, if we want to use the processor at full capacity as much as possible, we may need to set the thread number above the normal one. However, on very powerful processors and disks, this may not be necessary. We have seen this in some tests.

If we think according to the processor above (i7 13700k, 16 core, 24 thread), 60% of the processor has been used yet. So there is a little more space that needs to be used. For example, different results occurred on 5 different computers that I use. the i7 3770k(4-core, 8-thread) performed best on the system at 16 threads, the Ryzen 7 3700x(8-core, 16-thread) performed better at 64 threads, and the i7 9700k (8-core, 8-thread) performed better at 32 threads. You can try the most efficient situation according to the computer used. If in the normal case it is enough to set up the number of threads of the processor.

However, it should be remembered that the data to be tested should be one piece and large in order to get accurate results. 1 gb and more.
Code: [Select]
Ryzen 7 3700x(8-core, 16-thread), ~3 gb wav data
HALAC-Normal 16 thread encode time : 2.845
HALAC-Normal 128 thread encode time: 2.326
Left image is 16 Threads and right image is 128 Threads

All points should now be fixed on the latest commit.

Quote
I made one report from 2023 and the most listened track was "untitled" with 29, that seems to integrate all untitled songs from every artist.

This happens as well with typical title like "movement",  "part", etc and in general with all songs with the same title from different artists.
Including this one. With duplicated titles being assigned to different artists internally (please check this one, since I have not been able to test it properly).

Quote
EDIT: will be possible as long as you separate tags by ', ': '%GENRE%, %STYLE%'
And this is now possible.

The duplicates in the suggested seems to be fixed, only one song duplicated.

The title-artist thing situation is better than before. One untitled is the first with 10 listens. The album have 8 songs, all with 8 plays in last.fm. cleaning the last.fm data, the internal playcount show one with 2 plays and the others with 1 each So seems to be a last.fm problem with an album with the same title in various tags. Others albums with the same structure show the same problem in last.fm. Mental note, put some aditional info in title in album with a lot of songs with the same title

The rest are ok

But in the graph with the month the nº1, the untitled, have no artist name. And is missing in the top 5 too.

In your favorite no artist name and 1415 listens with 805 tracks. this is a bit weird.
