What do you think of MiniDSP "Ears" + DHA-DSP headphone amp?

Curious as to what folks make of MiniDSP's new headphone measurement jig (which doubles as binaural microphone!) and HA-DSP headphone amp: Can a generic measurement device "hear" enough like one's own ears to produce worthwhile results? It would seem like the combo has the potential to deliver really flat frequency response from any reasonably good (and good-fitting) set of IEMs or headphones.

I guess I'd like to know how it compares to other artificial heads.   Headphone measurements are notoriously "difficult" and there are lots of hard-to-control variables.   I'm sure no two "heads" give exactly the same results.

You'd probably have better luck making Headphone-A sound like Headphone-B, than you would making either one "flat".

Headphone.com has frequency response curves for quite a few headphones, so you may not need to do the measurements yourself.

Looks interesting to me. I like the miniDSP stuff. Although I now have an issue after moving house that I need to recalibrate my MiniDSP2x2 but my PC is two floors above it :-| Not sure what the solution is.
