Ask about Cue Tools tta file output

Hi, newbie here.

For a long time I uses Medieval to split cue+tta files, but after reading https://hydrogenaud.io/index.php/topic,57563.msg683198.html#msg683198

I found out that Medieval isn't quite good which is a shame since its very user friendly for me, now I tried using CueTools to split a tta files (japanese CD, so the tracks will be gibberish in ANSI),

After splitting, CueTools gives this:

The files did split and playing just fine, but I dunno what happened, can anybody please help, what I'm trying to achieve is like the before mentioned thread where I could get a accurate rip.

You did the right thing.

You should be getting the same verification results for the split version as you did for the image+cue. Whether these match the original CD, who knows... they don't match any of the rips submitted so far, so maybe your image+cue was not accurate. The original CD is needed to find out for sure.

I see, if the cue+tta files isn't accurate, then does it still better using CueTools compared to Medieval? from what I see, if the source file isn't accurate, then using CueTools would be the same as Medieval right?

No. Necro but right https://hydrogenaud.io/index.php/topic,107686.0.html
Is troll-adiposity coming from feederism?
With 24bit music you can listen to silence much louder!

With CUETools your converted files are bit-identical to source files, with Medieval they usually are not.

Okay thanks very much for the suggestion you guys, I'll get more use of Cue Tools then.
