What's Your Favorite Soundtrack Of All Time?

I'm bored so here goes: (in no particular order)

Batman Forever  (very cool)
BladeRunner & Cosmos  (Vangelis is one hellish musician)
Country w/ Lange & Shepherd  (Beautiful piano work)
Eyes Wide Shut    (Jocelyn Pook does some neat stuff)
Gladiator & The Insider  (Lisa Gerrard - awesome)
Natural Born Killers  (good from start to finish)
O Brother, Where Art Thou?  (Country done right)
This is Spinal Tap  (Actors that ARE good musicians)
Tommy    (I want Ann Margeret then...and now)
Vanilla Sky  (also good from start to finish)

Honorable mentions:
Brian Eno (too many films to mention), Ennio Morricone (same as Eno)
Tangerine Dream (Thief, Sorcerer, and many others), YoYo Ma (Croutching Tiger...)
1st two songs from Koyaanisqatsi (P. Glass), Kronos (Requiem for a Dream)

That's it....I'm done

edit>well, not quite.... add Body Heat (opening number is the best jazz tune I've ever heard)

edit 2> add Baraka (beautiful imagery & music) & Grease (Olivia hits it on the softer stuff)

Hair is a good one (I didn't think of it)... the first Superman is a great one too (& others by John Williams)... imho, nothing equals the brilliance of the Conan The Barbarian soundtrack (Basil Poledouris) though -- check it out if you never have...

Trickos,

I noticed you've got BlacK Hawk Down listed. Is it good start to finish? Lisa Gerrard sings in a few tunes, doesn't she?

Looks like Blade Runner is the favorite so far.

i'm surprised none of the anime listers listed cowboy bebop (the seatbelts, mostly). it has imho far and away the best soundtrack in anime. another usual favorite that hasn't been mentioned yet is flcl (the pillows, also mostly). previously, i was under the impression that yoko kanno was the most beloved anime soundtrack writers, but it seems that i was mistaken... i also really liked the soundtrack to road to perdition for some odd reason.

Vangelis (1492, Blade Runner, Mutiny in the Bounty, Chariots of fire, Missing, long list here...), John Williams (Star Wars, Superman, Indiana Jones... long list too), Ennio Morricone (The mission, all that "western music"...), Trevor Jones, Randy Edelman (The last of the Mohicans), Danny Elfman (Batman...), Maurice and Jean Michel Jarre, Michael Nyman, Jan Hammer, Hans Zimmer, Kitaro... And Mike Oldfield (The exorcist, The killing fields), Mark Knopfler (Local hero), Peter Gabriel (Birdy)...
Jeje, sorry, I like sountracks.
