There's probably not much Peter can do about Chinese users on a Chinese web site illegally reselling his software. Or he can try to do something about it. Not sure.

All these illegal acts began with this person: http://blog.sina.com.cn/s/blog_6fcc51420102xkfw.html ,because he translated the Foobar2000 into Chinese and then offered it to the public for download.Translate other people's software and then provide it to the public to download, need authorization?

Third party translations I'm not sure about. The author was originally of the belief that it would be better to explain what the English terms mean, than to try translating so many English origin technical words into foreign languages. Then again, his primary example of that was the madness that is German and Polish technical translations, which are also frequently bad.

Maybe a future version will make global translation of all components a possibility, offering a flexible API to components to provide their strings to an app global dictionary of strings, to be translated by other developers. Offering translations for as many third party components as possible. I know I'd implement support for such a system into my components, if it came to exist.
