Monkeys Audio Encoder

I can play APE files but cannot convert to APE (e.g. from WAV). Does FB2 only support APE decoding?
Any help greatly appreciated. Tks, Chris.

foobar uses command line encoders to encode, so you can convert to any format that has a command line encoder.

You need to create a new Converter profile pointing to mac.exe.

With a quick search I found this post (by me!) that shows you how you can create your profile.

There is also discussion on here regarding using the version on the shntool website that allows you to pipe to it.
