Switching between Playlists

Hi guys I have a few different playlists that I listen to. Today I found that after switching to a new playlist using a shortcut, Ctrl+P(Play/pause) command is still controlling the previous one.
Is it possible to use Play/pause shortcut to start a new song in the playlist that I switched to?

Goal: To switch between playlists without having to open Foobar and manually double clicking the song.

PS. This is my first time creating a topic in any forum/website whatsoever. Please advice if I have made any mistake. Thank you.
