Am I just stupid or is the search function broken?

1. search by name has no effect
2. it returnes threads which has absolutely nothing to do with what i searched for. (checked with ctrl+f in my browser)

I just tried it and it seemed to work fine for me.

heh... was going to post about it myself. The search doesn't work for me either.

I suspect that search by name works only if the other fields are left blank,
but it is ignored if a keyword is given.

Yes, I have noticed that too.

Specifying the searched member name as a standard search term seems to be a work-around in most cases.
