Title: Bluray Audio Disc
Post by: RandyOsbourne on 2011-11-23 20:26:34
Okay to make a Dvd audio disc is basically Flac > Separate channel wav's > MLP lossless compression > Dvd-Audio format, a lossless Dvd audio music disc.

Whats the format/programs for making a Bluray lossless audio disc, which is 6 times larger for music?
Anyone?

Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blu-ray_Disc#Audio) lists the 7 or 8 valid audio formats for Blu-Ray.  I assume Blu-Ray Audio is the same as the video standards  since the resolution can be quite high, and the special-incompatible DVDAudio format essentially failed in the marketplace.

I don't know if there are any consumer Blu-Ray Audio authoring applications, but you might try Sony Vegas which can author Blu-Ray Video discs.  (And, you can always make a video disc with a still image or text-graphics.)

How about Tsmuxer > Blu-ray disc
which creates a BDMV\STREAM\00000.m2ts files?  Couldn't this work?
