Cool Edit and Adobe Audition MP4-AAC Plugin

This plugin should support HE AAC, but i'm trying to open HE AAC files, and my Audition crushed  i'm trying this also with Cool Edit Pro 2.1 and again crush 
My sound hardware: Creative's Audigy 2 ;)
My music encodings: Nero AAC Codec 2.6.2.0 Profiles:Transparent,Extreme

I'll do a recompile of everything (to reflect the recent Faad2 2.0 RC3 release) as soon as I return home (probably next Sunday)

Simple recompile doesn't fix this filter. I uploaded fresh compile on my page just for the fun of it but it can't open SBR files. When I get some extra free time I'll take a look at fixing it.

It did work before and it doesn't work now?  Care to be more specific as to why it doesn't work anymore for you?

Why would you want to do this? Unless I missed anything QuickTime doesn't support HE-AAC.

I guess he meant a filter that uses QT for encoding.

And no, there is no such filter yet.
