Usability of ALAC files with Foobar2000

Hello,

I just acquired a DAC and I'm planning to use Foobar2000 as my main player.

I would like to use my iTunes library (ALAC files) with Foobar.
As I still need iTunes, I would like maintain only one library.

My idea is to have 2 copies of my iTunes library.
One used by iTunes and the copy used by Foobar.

The iTunes library will be the "main" and will be synchronized with the library used by Foobar.

The idea here is to use only ALAC files for both iTunes and Foobar (as iTunes does not read/support FLAC)

My question is the following :

Is there any limitations or issues when using ALAC files with Foobar?

Thank you vey much for your help.
