Because people should check the official biography thread, where the package is attached. It's also the place to report problems.Imo searching is one of the worst implemented functions in this forum.
Otherwise there is zero control about which version people have or where they should be looking for (not saying you would edit the package on purpose though). Best option would be to simply link to the thread where the package resides, I was lazy and expected people would use the search function (since I explicitly said "download from this forum")

According to what I found, I'm using the latest 1.42 version--is this not the most recent one?No idea why it wasn't included in the earlier reply, but I attached it in this post.
Let me start by saying foobar has never crashed on me, not once. And by crash, I mean just exit completely on its own.You are using an outdated BIO package, which produces these errors. Download the latest version from this forum.
I was using JScript Panel for artist bio info, but I noticed that newer tracks were not pulling info. Then I learned that it was abandoned recently, so I switched to Spider Monkey panel and its artist bio package, which has been working perfectly.
However, since making the switch, every other time I close foobar, I get a crash message and an option to send report.
Since these are not actually crashes, just something about the exit process that foobar doesn't like, can I just stop these messages entirely? I don't care if it's an 'unclean' exit, it's not a crash, therefore these messages should really be optional.
I already know about the option to suppress bad shutdown dialogue at startup, but is there a similar option to suppress post-exit crash message? Any help would be deeply appreciated--thanks in advance!
My suspicion is the responses will tend to be:Or:
(1) Relax, stop worrying, and enjoy the music (I agree this is the correct answer, but some of us do enjoy the music, but are still curious and enjoy optimizing audio quality.)
(2) Use LAME mp3 VBR V0 (or lower).
(3) Use WMA 9.2 VBR 192 kbps (since it fit the most songs on it, and you couldn’t tell the difference.)
