Please change the way shuffle works in Foobar2000.

The shuffle function repeats the same pattern over and over.

But making a good shuffle is reasonably simple in my eyes:

When selecting shuffle, rendomize the playlist.
Play songs in the randomized order.
Re-randomize the playlist after the last song has finished, so the playlist is in a different order.
Do not reset playlist when closing player and save position (or give the user the choice).

This will give you a different order everytime all songs are played.
The only chance on hearing the same song twice, is when the first song is the same as the last (before re-randomizing).

Or use Random Pools plugin.

When adding buttons to the GUI, you should find one under Playback labelled "Reshuffle". Or you'll find a reshuffle item under the Playback menu if you hold down the shift key while clicking on the Playback menu.
