(v1.5b7) Masstagger does not remove COMMENT field via script.

Hello Peter,

very long COMMENT tags are not removable via Masstagger script: Remove Comment.

Preview says, comment is removed, but its not. (screenshot: masstagger window)

Reprocucable in v1.5.b7 ...and every other f2k since 2009 :-)

Today I've read about LargeFieldsConfig.txt, but
I'm not sure, if this file (and its contents) is also responsible for the masstagger component not working as expected (remove comment fields).

Ok,
via google I found this useful Post by marc2003, and after increasing the defaultMetaMax parameter in LargeFieldsConfig.txt (and restarting f2k), masstager was able to du remove the COMMENT tag.

Anyways, problem solved, but I would call this a still bug, because

a)
why in the world has removing a tag from a file something to do with caching?

b)
nobody in the world could guess right, why the tag is not removed.

c)
f2k/masstagger does show the user in the preview window, that the tag will be removed, which is not the case when executing the script.

d)
it is a buggish behave :-)

Masstagger was released in September 2009, LargeFieldsConfig.txt was introduced in foobar2000 1.3 (December 2013).
So probably masstagger just doesn't know how to work with such fields. Also, apparently it was abandoned, so I doubt that it will be fixed.

Addressed incompatibility between the component and new info caching.
Please test and report if it works correctly.

Well?

Any feedback, even "installed, seems to work OK" is welcome, from someone who actually uses the component extensively.

I'm trying not to push untested versions to everyone via auto update.

I installed it in 1.5 beta, imported my huge title case script from the old version, and it processed some files fine, even if the title was longer than caching limit and showed as a period. Seems to work.
