Can anyone help me get round the above. Files are 24bit/88,2 kHz FLAC. I am using WASAPI(push):SPDIF Interface (TX!) (VIA High Definition Audio) via optical cable into Cambridge DACMagic. Output data format set to 32 bit.
All help appreciated. Thanks Gz00
S/PDIF doesn't support anything higher than 44100 Hz 16 bit stereo. You need to add a resampler and limit bit depth.
Looks like S/PDIF supports up to 24 bits / 48 kHz.

Really S/PDIF supports up to 192KHz/24 bits stereo on coaxial and up to 96KHz/24 bits stereo on TosLink
192kHz/24bits operation is available on its coaxial S/PDIF input, while 96kHz/24bits can be achieved when using the legacy Toslink input

But S/PDIF doesn't support 32 bits
