Hello Folks,
I am sure that somebody else before me faced the problem to have a GOOD convolver in place to run an equalization for a good Room Corrected response.
I tried to use the foo_convolver, but I couldn't find any clear user manual/documentation, so I gave-up.
The best for me should be to get an excellent convover or a "commercial EQ emulator", so that I could use REW to generate the eq files.
Thanks in advance to all of you giving me tips and tricks
Regards,
Andrea
fb2k components usually do not have a 'user manual' document (say, in a downloadable pdf). There are often links to the wiki, but those articles are often short, at least compared to the discussion threads. You have read http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index....showtopic=10611 (http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=10611) and http://www.sjeng.org/foobar2000.html (http://www.sjeng.org/foobar2000.html)
A couple of others you may have a look at
http://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_dsp_effect (http://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_dsp_effect) (for EQ. Works with the most recent fb2k.)
http://www.alanjordan.org/DRCDesigner/DrcDesignerHelp.html (http://www.alanjordan.org/DRCDesigner/DrcDesignerHelp.html) (never tried)
Thank you Porcus, ... but I am looking for a Convolver, not for a generic EQ filter.
Any known good Impulse Response Convolver to suggest me?
Thanks and regards,
Andrea.
