there is a way in foobar or audacity?
Is there now or will there ever be a way to set the SPL (Volume Control in db) via numerical input as opposed to slider control. This feature would be immensely useful.

dB Sound Pressure Level will depend on how your DAC, amp and/or monitors are calibrated, so there is no way of knowing exactly how, for example, -14dBfs will translate to db SPL, unless you have a calibrated system (like me).
