Multichannel to stereo

5.1 24bit 96khz FLAC-> Chaintech Av-710-> GoVibe-> Headphones

I have tried many different plugins which includes; 5.1 to stereo, ATsurround, Channel Mixer, and one other... Forgot the name of it.
5.1 to stereo= Does not work with a 4.1 source.
ATsurround= Audio is not correctly placed where is should be, the phase setting does not help.
Channel Mixer= Way too much bass. Lowering the sub channel also lowers the rears/front speakers.

Is there no plugin which has a matrix? This is really annoying...

Edit: Forgot I could use a VST plugin, I'm searching for that now...
