Embedded progress dialog

How about designing sample progress UI element that can show as embedded above status bar when needed, instead as separate dialog, and which can be called by any component requiring progress bar?

Currently, progress dialogs, like in converter, RG processing, integrity verifying, file operations progress, and maybe others... all pop modeless UI dialogs showing current processing status. As such user can continue using player, but these dialogs are always in way if active.
