MPC player for macos X old version (10.2 Jaguar)

I'm looking for such a player for my old mac running mac os x 10.2.8.
I've already found COG & VLC but they aren't going to work on my machine. COG requires Panther minimum. VLC is a buggy thing and it doesn't play mpc. (It's support isn't even documented, though it must play mpc starting from the latest beta version). Also I've found a thread about Xist here on the forums but the link's dead. Is there any way I might play musepack files without VPC emulation? My mac doesn't have enough brains to complete such a tough task in background mode. At least where can I get that Xist to try it out?

Please help!

Perhaps XMMS would do the trick? You'd need XDarwin or something as well.
