How much the lame encoder is updated in ffmpeg 08.06.2019? Is builded inMay2019?

To me sounds better than latest stable and January build from other people in this forum.
Does it exist a way to know if an encoder has an updated build in ffmpeg, for example aac ffmpeg native encoder is a build from today?

Is you question about MP3 encoder or AAC encoder? (and if it's about AAC then why it's in MP3 subforum?)
