Just another way to let you know they want you to forget CD's and move on to DVD's which they think can be protected easier.

What do they think about ?!

Don't record companies see that this is just marketing BS aimed at making money from them ?
Maybe we should, if it was possible, tell Majors that this kind of things can't reduce piracy... One has to be smart enough to record the digital output of a CD player, that limits severely the number of first generation copies, but once one unprotected copy is made, it spreads at an exponetial rate, so that the number of first generation copies that would be made without the protection must be reached just a week later.
What a waste of time, money, and wits, for just one week of copy protection...
