Title: Add external image to stream items
Post by: Sergey77 on 2018-07-22 11:58:31
Hello!
On the pages of this forum not once discussed the problem of adding an external image for stream items.
And I would also like to add logos to the names of Internet radio stations.
But to date, unfortunately this feature is still not realized.
And as it turned out, the reason for this in fb2k behavior.
For example see some discussions at these threads:
Reply #233 (https://hydrogenaud.io/index.php/topic,97164.225.html) by @luigimercurio for m-TAGS (https://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_tags) component
Reply #17 (https://hydrogenaud.io/index.php/topic,116141.0.html) by @Case for External Tags (https://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_external_tags) component
So let me ask:
Dear @Peter, could you comment on your opinion on this feature for foobar2000 (adding an external image for stream items), please.
And if you don't protest about that, then tell us please, is it possible to realize this feature in future versions (or let to support for 3rd Party components)?
I think stream items users (for example internet radio) will support me.

Thank you!

^ Seconded  :)

I also use m-Tags to add cover art to radio streams, but as you linked to in the m-Tags discussion thread, certain streams (ending in .MP3) refuse to be tagged.

It would be neat if foobar could handle that issue.
