Please be aware that much of the software linked to or mentioned on this forum is niche and therefore infrequently downloaded. Lots of anti-virus scanners and so-called malware detectors like to flag infrequently downloaded software as bad until it is either downloaded enough times, or its developer actually bothers with getting each individual release allow listed by every single AV vendor. You can do many people a great favor when encountering such a "problem" example by submitting them to your AV vendor for examination. For almost everything on this forum, it is a false positive.

Audio Hardware / Re: Seeking advice on new active speakers
Last post by ajinfla -Behringer's then top monitors we thought that everything sounded so good but when we took the recordings and listen to them on other systems the sound was dull and far from as good as we thought they were.Nope, just you. I had no involvement in the original ineptitude, blaming tools, etc.
So that is how we are doing this?
The 2031s direct sound FR is natively and/or adjustably flat by the user as I've posted...and the perceptual science of that is already well established with blind testing, so no excuse. For you. No we.

cheers,
AJ

Audio Hardware / Re: Seeking advice on new active speakers
Last post by ajinfla -From a DAC, it outputs in stereo, one RCA for L and one for R.Well, that will supply signal, but volume, etc? Computer?
Using a lower level signal (1-2v from dac) without additional gain from a preamp etc may limit your overall max volume, increase hiss, etc.
cheers

I constantly have to change that setting when ripping (uncheck) or listening (check).
