Can't get wasapi / bitstreaming to work with new hardware

Hi

Until recently I used a win7 pc with foobar and wasapi. Bitstreaming worked fine then. Because the mainboard broke, I had to buy new hardware. You know how it goes... new mainboard requires new cpu and new ram. Now I'm on a Gigabyte B760m with Intel i3. I googled and it should have a Realtek ALC897. I can't get bitstreaming to work.

In the output devices I tried everything, especially the exclusive HD audio driver for display audio (hdmi connection). Either the sound is complete garbage with test files or the DD/DTS symbol on the receiver starts to flash and the sound stutters.

Any ideas how I can get good sound quality out of it? Would be appreciated.

An upate from myself: I installed my old radeon hd6870 with the catalyst drivers and hd passthrough works perfectly fine with foobar over wasapi.

I thought I could build a rather minimalist pc with i3 integrated uhd graphics but the drivers are shit. If you can't get a good audio signal out of the pc it's not for me.

Does anyone had success with uhd graphics and hd passthrough?
