foobar2000 v2.0 [x64] inserting a space into the file name?

I have an issue with foobar2000 v2.0 [x64]

When I Right Click >File Operations >Rename to...

Foobar then wants to change file names from e.g. "Filename.flac" to "Filename .flac".

Is there a way to stop the space being inserted into the file name?  Is it intentional?  Is it a bug?

Most probably space is presented in tags. What patter are you trying to use for renaming?

It's just the standard "%tracknumber%. %title%"

The issue doesn't arise in foobar2000 v1.6.16

It's not a huge problem for me though, I just thought I'd mention it on the off-chance that it's a possible bug.

I've figured out that a few of my file names did have an extra space character, but that foobar v1.6.16 did not pick up on them.

foobar v2 did though, so it's working as intended.
