I love the app, but adding music to a playlist is for scientists....

I love the foobar app for android, but when i want to add music to an existing playlist, foobar is useless. :/ How come it is not as easy as to just have a "Add song"-button, you browse/search for a song on your phone and then add it to the list?! Why it must be so advanced..? I still do not know how to add a single track to my playlist without adding an entire folder....

Any chance that you can simplify that like described? SOOO much easier for us non-technical noobs. Otherwise, it's an awesome app, for sure!

Do you have the latest Version of foobar ?

Click on a song and than choose Add to playlist.
Nothing easier than that !

Warning: fb2k is addictive.

If you have version 1.3 it doesn't work but on version 1.2.x you just long press on a folder or a file and you have the options to add to playlist (current) or create a new playlist... hope it helps

For me it works on Version 1.3.0.

Long press on a file and then "Add to playlist" appears.

It would be good to be able to multi-select a bunch of songs from a folder without adding a whole folder or adding songs tediously one by one.

I was going to post a new thread but then I read this one. I really want Foobar mobile to work for me but playlist manipulation is awful. Coming from the computer you expect the same experience then you are confronted with the reality and you get disappointed. Foobar in the computer is so freaking awesome. I wish they add real playlist randomize, removal of tracks after they have been played, multiple track selection from a folder to be added to a playlist. But please keep the option to create a playlist selecting a directory. So far I have to stick to version 1.2.

.. On a file, but not in a folder in the browser, as it used to be, maybe you are using the advanced search, but if you have a folder with a bunch of files with no tags you will have to do it one by one...

Confirmed that in the current version, you cannot long-press to add a folder to a playlist. Perhaps there are some underlying problems if that folder contains other file types that are not music? The long-press to add by standard tag methods (Track, Album, Artist, etc.) all work as expected.

But to your point about tracks with no tags, how can you browse the tracks any other way than by filename? That must be far more tedious than the issue of having them added to a playlist.
