No, it didn't.
Actually, I have both versions of the PDB files, so I disassembled them using dumpbin.exe and compared the machine code of the functions in both versions, but there were no differences.

FYI, I installed KB5053656 in my test Windows 11 24H2 virtual machine and it runs qaac 2.83 as fast as Windows 11 23H2 did.

Followed Case's lead and after installing KB5053656 the speeds of 32/64 bit scanning/encoding are very well in the ballpark of Windows 10 performance (only the "usual" 2-3% loss)...
