EAC File Creation error

Just saw an error I've not seen in 20 years with this program: a "File Creation" error.

Tried ripping my copy of Iron & Wine's Around the Well, and it went poorly. EAC would detect track gaps, but returned this "File Creation" error on every track.

Pretty sure we've moved past the days of root kits being hidden on discs for copy protection, so I suspected someone had inserted hidden characters in the metadata EAC retrieved from freeDB.

After clearing the metadata and reentering all values from scratch, the disc ripped fine.

Thought I should share.
