EAC 1.0b3 and MAREO 6

I am trying to get MAREO 6 to work with EAC 1.0b3 and I can't figure it out.  EAC creates the .wav file, but MAREO won't do the compression into mp3 and FLAC.  I am using LAME 3.99.3 and the latest FLAC.  Each time I run EAC, I get a message that MAREO.exe has stopped working.  I have updated the additional configuration in EAC to reflect the new parameters (%title% for example) and double/triple/quadruple checked the mareo.ini file. Are these versions simply incompatible?

Which version did it work for you last? I know EAC changed their parameter variables, but you already mentioned you adjusted accordingly.

It haven't tried it with any other versions - first time with MAREO, although I have used EAC exclusively for my CD ripping and have used EAC 1.0b3 successfully.
