Also fixes cuesheet creation when encoding to TAK or APE without updated decoder components.
Full-quoting makes you scroll past the same junk over and over.

Thanks for your continous support of Windows Media Streams. BBC streams still fail to work here.

@Squeller: Both stations that you've posted are working perfectly for me. But I use Continuator DSP, and with this enabled the first 10 seconds (buffer size of dsp) the sound is choppy. With MP3 streams is no problem. Could be a Continuator DSP? It's a bit outdated...

No, no active DSP... But you're right, with a fresh fb2k install it works. I need to sort this out, but no idea currently.

EDIT: Removed my component list. It's not a components fault IMO. I deleted all component dll's and copied components of a working fb2k to this component folder: Same problem, stream does not start. I also do not think it's a firewalling issue. http://www.abc.net.au/hobart/onair/936stream.asx works for instance. Still I have no idea.

Man, Peter's been on fire releasing these betas! I remember when Beta 1 was released & some people were worried the next beta wouldn't be released before it expired in 4 weeks.

Awesome job, Peter. Just awesome.

Using beta 3, most streams in that list work, however the ones listed under "Windows Media Player" (towards the bottom) do not, due to their use of recursive playlist files. This has been fixed for the next beta.

There's no telling which other BBC .asx streams would fail for the same reason.

Squeller: Having "full file buffering" enabled in Advanced Preferences somehow breaks WM streaming over HTTP, that's probably what you're experiencing, I'm looking into it now. Thanks for reporting.

You must be new around these parts... Beta cycles happen quite quickly, they always have.

New Edit Menu behavior

With Default User Interface, the Edit Menu commands operate on currently selected items, not just on the currently active playlist. This allows - for an example - to use the Copy command on Album List selection.

This feature currently does not work with third party user interfaces - Edit Menu commands operate on the active playlist just like in old foobar2000 versions; relevant components will need to be updated to comply.

So if the playlist doesn't have focus, the edit menu isn't referencing the playlist

What about to make foobar remember the column width in Playlist Manager and Selection Properties. It would be great....I hate horizontal scrollbars.

The Value column of Selection Properties changes with the content and won't be changed; I've asked about it before.

What changes in the playlist manager exactly?

I've always had this problem using Continuator DSP. It doesn't handle playback of livestreams properly I think. Actually I don't understand why the integrated crossfader doesn't add smilar functionality (Instead of crossfade, just overlap if two tracks doesn't blend seamlessly. Eventually fadeout a track if it ends abruptly).
Can't wait for a HD-AAC encoder :P

(maybe-not-so) Major bug here from the Metadata/Properties dialog.

When selecting multiple files, the "Individual Values" tab always shows the Title tag/field/I forget the name for it in foobar2000 and is not editable:

You need to scroll all the way to the right and bring the editable column back into your view. The item column is there so that you know for sure which item you are editing.

It's nice to Built-in support for Windows Media streaming!I find there are still several shortage or bug of reading the streaming file -- asx.

1)It can't read the asx file when it contains asx address,while FK can read the Url address using the command "add location".

The script is like this:
<asx version="3.0">

BBC

<ref href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/listen/live/r1.asx"/>

BBC Radio 1(The Best New Music)

<ref href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/listen/live/r2.asx"/>

BBC Radio 2(Music & Entertainment)

</asx>
2)It can't read the whole streaming address when it contains multi radio stations;

3)I used to use mslive plug-in, it will recognise the
,
before the entry as album(the station name) and album artist ,
and treat the
in the entry as track artist .It'll be greatly convenient to array and manage.
The script is like this:

<asx version="3.0">

1club.fm

Could you give a better description, as I can't reproduce trying with either...

Ok. OS: WinXP, Portable installation.
1) Run player, Ctrl+P, go to Tools->Converter. On the right side press "Add New" button.
2) Create new preset like this: .
Press OK, Then Apply and OK. Pay attention to wrong encoder's file name(It's done on purpose).
3) Put lame.exe into player's directory. And try to convert something. Player will ask you to choose file. Press cancel. Let's correct it..
4) Go to Preferences and edit lame1.exe to lame.exe.
5) In the dialog "Convert Setup" combobox "Output format" contains two presets with the same name. One of them is working properly (new one), and the second isn't. If we simply choose "convert->[last used]" we will get an error.

is it normal behavior?.
