Columns UI problems with Splitters

Hey there,

Having a play with Columns UI - all my splitters are appearing horizontal (or vertical, not sure if the name defines whether it splits the display in two vertically, or runs vertically). But either way, both horixontal and vertical splitters are functioning in the same way.

Screenshot here:

a) What am I doing wrong
b) Is there a way to reset Columns UI to default without a reinstall?

Thanks,
Chris

your base splitter is vertical. that's why they are all on top of one another. if you add 2 more panels to the horizontal splitter, you will see them positioned side by side.

you can goto file>preferences>display>columns UI>main tab and use the quick setup button to choose one of the built-in layouts.
