--ns-bass -8 --verbose

I noticed that the screen output was the same if either not using --ns-bass switch or using --ns-bass -7 -8..... or anything more than -6.

I wonder whether it's just a verbose bug and --ns-bass -8 is applied correctly?

Edit: I used --alt-preset 140 --lowpass 16.5 --ns-bass -8 (analogues to one of the  recommended abr 128 lines)
When used plain --abr 140 --nspsytune --ns-bass it displays correctly for -6 -7 -8, but for -9 and higher it displays -8.
/Edit

Any other way to check actual used options, other than --verbose?
