No DTS from WAV

Hi,

I just installed this card and  have problems playing back dts-files in .wav-Format.
Playback from DVDs works perfectly, both AC3 and DTS.
I got Win XP Pro here, and I tried many hints written in this forum,
played with graphedit, installed dtswavsource, etc.
but I only get white noise playing back the files, with either player
(winamp, mpc, wmp, bsplayer, zoom player, windvd.
The settings on all players are, as far as I know, correct,
which means I activated spdif-passthrough wherever possible.

Any hints on this problem?
Anything is appreciated!

Are you using an ASIO plugin for Winamp? Make sure you have the equalizer (and any EQs on your soundcard) off.

Yes, I tried it with ASIO, too.
I used the ASIO4ALL Program
and the ASIO Output plugin from: http://www3.cypress.ne.jp/otachan/
Any EQ is turned off, but still noise 

Any other idea?

If you are trying to send 44.1 kHz DTS output through S/PDIF to an external decoder it is not going to work because your soundcard resamples the signal to 48 kHz. A DTS wave file is usually 44.1 kHz. DD and DTS audio tracks on standard DVD-Video discs are 48 kHz.

An Envy24 chip based card could do that, for example Terratec Aureon Space.

I read quickly through that thread and I think S_O explained that he converted the 44.1 kHz source files to 48 kHz.

Terratec says this:

You can play flawlessy DTS or DTS/Wav files with the method shown here
