OptiVorbis - a lossless Ogg Vorbis optimizer, claims to reduce size by 10%

Found an interesting project: https://github.com/OptiVorbis/OptiVorbis
It claims that it can optimize Ogg Vorbis files without quality loss.

It works yes. I also got rid of a "Nonsense Ogg granulepos" value and foo_bitcompare matches the audio with the original.
With that entire album I got like 1 percent size reduction.
Testing the highest-bitrate .ogg file I have (=creator%3A%22thy+apokalypse%22]from this band, yes legit on a free netlabel ... ), it was reduced from 507 to 491 kbit/s. Was compressed with Xiph.Org libVorbis I 20120203 (Omnipresent).

No surprise that it is possible - after the "lossy" part of lossy compression, the rest is packed losslessly, and can be recompressed without decoding, possibly putting more effort into it. For MP3 you have mp3packer: https://wiki.hydrogenaud.io/index.php/MP3packer
