WMA9/VBR: j-stereo?

Hi, I'm interested how WMA9/VBR codec compresses channels: stereo or joint-stereo? Especially on not very high bitrates (192 etc).

@ Gabriel:
general question: is the WMA decoder source code and/or a WMA specification available for free ?
(preferring a specification)

And if yes, could you provide any links ?
thanks.

bye,
Sebastian

Not exactly, but there is the libavcodec decoder which is able to decode standard wma.
