Support - (fb2k) / Incorrect BPS

Last post by sveakul -The setting "Exclude text in brackets at the end of artist/album names and track titles (for internet searches)" will also exclude text in parentheses, not just brackets. For example, when checked, an automatic (but not manual) search will not return the song Serpent (Black Sun) by Lapis Lazuli; when unchecked, the lyrics from Genius are immediately returned.
I like the ability to toggle this so am not arguing for a change, just be aware that both () and [] are affected!
For those who don't read the GitHub site, the developer will be adding Metal Archives to the next release (thanks Porcus for bringing it up there) and also a fix for the issue affecting MusixMatch. Many thanks to plugin creator Jacques Heunis for his continuing work.

Last post by pqyt -There is a report of a regression in comparison to foo_midi v2.7.3 when used with VSTi: the vsthost32.exe doesn't close when playback of a track is over, so if a few tracks were played, a few vsthost32.exe are left running unused until foobar2000 is closed.I'll look in to it.

foobar2000 mobile / Re: Adding album cover art
Last post by pyr452 -My cover art is stored as cover.jpg (plus additional stuff like back.jpg or cd.jpg).
The cover.jpg are recognized and displayed, the back.jpg or cd.jpg aren't.
In case Peter reads this: it would be nice to have a pinch-to-zoom feature for the cover art.
Also recognition for other files like back.jpg, cd.jpg... and the ability to swipe thru them would be cool.

Last post by Case -Anyway, foobar2000 uses the official Monkey's Audio decoder so any limits it has affect also foobar2000.

Last post by k2k -I have been reading a paper regarding sweeps for room correction, which states that due to average rooms (in household environment) having a Q factor or 20 or more the time duration of the sweep is very important in order to achieve an accurate correction and to minimize drops in displayed amplitude and shifts in displayed frequencies.The statements in that paper are true for the specific measurement technique which is mentioned in the paper. Room EQ uses a different technique which allows it to use relatively short sweep signals without sacrificing the measurement accuracy.

Last post by kfalfdjk -I downloaded Monkey's Audio v4.11 and created a test track with various compression levels. Everything works fine on foobar2000 v2.0 and the v2.1 preview.
You could try the file with latest version of official Monkey's Audio. If it doesn't work on it either, you could contact Matt Ashland and report the problem to the source.
Or you could share a sample file so people could try and figure out what's wrong with your track.
