Thorens Td-160 Turntable

I got mine up & running tonight (except for tonearm height and the arm lift, which need adjusted).  I'm disappointed by the amount of background rumble though, it's no better than any other turntable I've heard.  And the thing is so sensitive to footfalls you can't walk while a record is playing.

Tomorrow I'm gonna replace the lube on the bearing with Mobile One Synthetic (I'm using mineral oil which apparently sucks), and find a set of allen wrenches to adjust the tonearm.

Anyone else here have one of these turntables, care to share some experiences?
