ReplayGain Mode - is it possible to select AND display from main window?

Hi all

It has always been a dream of mine to have the ReplayGain modes available as buttons on the player, with relevant icons AND a way in which to see which button/mode is currently active.  I asked about this quite some time ago and it wasn't possible back then.  Is that still the case now?  If it could be done it would be amazing.  

The way I currently have it set up is with three buttons (next to the transport buttons).  But each button just has a question mark on it, and there's no way of telling which button is currently activated. 

The second best solution would be a different way to display which RG Mode is currently selected.  Is it possible to add this info to the Window Title or Status Bar, or anywhere else?

You are not the only one who asked about it... Let's hope this can be done in v 1.4 final :)

Well, that's great news!  If it's a popular request then hopefully there will be more chance of it happening,  Fingers crossed.

I'd like to see this too, at least a button to be able to switch it On and Off from the front panel.

If the kind of set up I have there would be helpful to you darkflame23, let me know and I'll see if I can remember how I did it.

Does anyone know yet whether this is looking likely in 1.4?  If not, do any clever computer folk out there know how to write something for this?  Any of these options would suffice....  In order of preference (favourite option first):

1.  Continue as I am with three RG buttons (Default/Off, Track, Album) on the transport, display, but the currently active RG mode/button is highlighted/shown as depressed, or whatever.  Anything so that at a glance I can see what RG is being used.  If the three buttons could have something more meaningful than question marks for icons, that would be the sweet cherry on top.

2.  A drop down menu.  I have one for play mode, so I can easily change that AND it displays what the currently selected mode is.  The same set up for RG would be great. 

3.  If none of the above are possible or likely to be made possible in the future, is there a way to have the currently selected RG mode reported somewhere...  anywhere...  in the GUI?  This option would still be fantastic so I could see what is selected at any time.

What is this "+1"ing? ReplayGain mode toolbar was added already for 1.4 beta 7.

Basically, something that Github tried to render pointless with the addition of a Like/Emote button for issues and comments, but people still do it. Spam, essentially, posting "I like this" or "I want this" in as few keystrokes as possible, without actually contributing to the conversation, as if the developer's action hinges on seeing if anyone actually cares about it first.

Hi all

I was wondering - is there a way to set up a single button to toggle between settings?  In my case, it would be handy if I could assign a keyboard shortcut of just a single button which would toggle between two or three RG settings?  Is that possible?  Or must it always be one single = one action?
