Simple Surround Disables Subwoofer Feed

If I enable simple surround, it disables the subwoofer feed.

I have a SB Live and am using the WinXP SP1 driver with 4 speaker surround sound and a Cambridge Soundworks 5.1 speaker set.

simple surround simply reverses the phase of one of the channels, which simply cancels out any mono info, which is why you get no bass, there's no fix except don't use simple surround

Simple surround is too simple to avoid killing your sub's signal. Disable it.
