Foobar 1.6.8 exclusive mode

Hi everybody,
1.6.8 is now a stable version and it has the default speakers output exclusive. I'm a little bit confused with foo_output_wasapi. Are these two the same thing or there are differences?

They are not the same.  The current wasapi implementation has had its code updated/re-written from scratch by Peter to replace his old foo_out_wasapi (exclusive mode) plugin.  The foo_out_wasapis (note the "s" at end) shared mode plugin is a project from Case;  how that compares to the current shared mode I don't know.
