Please be aware that much of the software linked to or mentioned on this forum is niche and therefore infrequently downloaded. Lots of anti-virus scanners and so-called malware detectors like to flag infrequently downloaded software as bad until it is either downloaded enough times, or its developer actually bothers with getting each individual release allow listed by every single AV vendor. You can do many people a great favor when encountering such a "problem" example by submitting them to your AV vendor for examination. For almost everything on this forum, it is a false positive.

I voted +9 to the reputation of that file, however. You may also freely report it to any of the AV engines you wish, but none of the major ones I care about need reporting at this time. I also spotted who I think is Case voting on it, and it's his own pack. I added him to my trusted users on the VirusTotal community, so he should have slightly more clout now. I'll have even more if he adds me back.

ajinfla: Graphs do not give the whole picture of how something sounds.
The ones posted show a quiet linear, neutral speaker, especially for the money. More important, fully adjustable to produce neutral high frequencies. Anyone whose mix on them sounds sounds "dull" on any other neutral loudspeaker, is simply incompetent.
Not uncommon among studiophiles. The Circle of Confusion.
foobar2000 mobile / Folder sort should be by file name, not track title
Last post by mhuth1776 -
My collection is organized in a folder hierarchy, with the music files all named with a 2-digit track number (or more in the case of multi-disc performances).  The desktop version sorts the tracks as intended in folder view, but the mobile version apparently sorts based on the track titles.  This basically renders the folder view useless, as track play out of order.  The files are tagged with track number tags.

This problem does not happen with flac files, tagged identically, but seems limited to m4a or mp3 files.

Is there a way to fix this short of inserting a track number in the title?

So that is how we are doing this? Nice.

I've seen few reviews and spoke with few people who has these, and yes, they are not Genelec but Genelec knockoff, but they are very close to each other in terms of audio quality. There is nothing like lack of bass on these that would suggest that you can't do mastering with them. You can.
How they're set up in that studio, are they configured properly, that's something else. Also, why there weren't other systems to listen the master? It's not really speaker's fault.
(no, I don't have Behringer, but I do have Genelec)
Everything in that comment is based on anecdotes and is a TOS violation.

ajinfla: Graphs do not give the whole picture of how something sounds. Just like we are not allowed to claim that something sounds better because of nice looking spectrograms that look like they are better than something else.

Just listen them and compare them with Genelics or some other speaker of higher quality.
Support - (fb2k) / Forced 48kHz on android?
Last post by roney99 -
I installed the Foobar2000 app on my Zappiti media player and it works fine except for one thing... it doesn't play the files original bitrate. It changes everything to 48 kHz. Why?

When I play the same files using ZappitiMusic (the players native app for music (it sucks. Can’t scroll on FLAC files and no gapless feature) it plays the files original bitrate no matter if it is 44.1 or 192 kHz or anything in between. But as soon as I switch to the Foobar app it doesn’t. I've tried every setting in Foobar and Zappiti that I can think of to no avail.

I know that apple’s airplay changes everything to 48 kHz but does Foobar2000 do the same?
3rd Party Plugins - (fb2k) / How can I listen to youtube live streams on foobar?
Last post by Theboombringer1 -
Hi, I've been using the youtube source component to add songs on yt to my playlists but whenever I try to add a livestreamed video, like a radio for instance, the client just refuses to start up and keeps buffering the video. Is there anyway I can add 24/7 live youtube videos to my playlists, through the use of a seperate component perhaps?

Thank y'all in advance
