Yeah I did manage to get it going on dapper using a similar kernel switch but edgy seems to want something different. I'll give it another shot after exams..

My notebook's a ASUS A6KT. It's also got an ATI card and broadcom wireless which is another whole set of linux issues...

Anyway: back on topic...

When I had linux running, I used Listen. Mostly because of the awesome automatic playlist feature. It looks up whatever you're listening to on last.fm, searches through your local library, and queue's up similar songs/artists depending on some parameters you can set up! It is the most awesome feature fb2k doesn't have IMHO.

I'm using qmpdclient until I finish my ruby MPD client.
err... i'm not using windows any more ;)
