We can thank Messer for his plugins foo_freedb, incredible, and foo-setyear! 

It would be perfect to have a plugin like foo_setyear to quickly set other usual tags, such as %disc% (value: 1, 2 and 3 - I think it would be enough for most of the jobs...), %singletrack%, %lasttrack% and %various% ( value is the same for the three of them: 1)...

I know nothing in programing    , so i can't do it myself, but if someone is interested?...
