I'm converting FLAC files to AAC, VORBIS and OPUS. (320kbps or higher with all latest encoders)
When I play them on my pc it sounds almost same.
But when I transfer those files to my mobile and play with Samsung Music or any music player.
I can hear the difference. AAC sounds similar to FLAC and it's transparent.
But...
OGG and OPUS adds gain to the sub-bass frequency and makes mid sound more mono.
It feels like the vocal is in my head. It doesn't sounds like the FLAC file.
I can clearly hear that VORBIS and OPUS both do the same job. They boost 60-100khz frequency.
Is there any solution to fix it ??
Probably something with the app you're using for decode.
First, ABX these on computer. Then we can discuss.
