Album Artist

Hi all.

In the 'Playlist View', the 'SimPlaylist' and the 'EsPlaylist', the 'Album Artist' column always shows the same information that exists in the 'Artist' column, even when, in reality, there is no tag assigned to 'Album Artist'.

The 'TagBox' component is the only resource that correctly displays information about the 'Album Artist' - when the tag is not present, it shows nothing (which is to be expected!).

So, I see no use of using the 'Album Artist' column in the Playlist Renderers that I pointed out in the first paragraph above.

Is that so?

The tag remappings you described is intended. If you want to disable it, you'll have to replace %artist% with $meta(artist) in the display patterns of the mentioned playlist viewers. Same with album artist.
